How we look at it

Built to pioneer what’s next

The AI Lab is our innovation and incubation platform for ambitious ideas and cutting-edge projects. For organizations and academies, it's a place to tackle complex innovation challenges. For founders and young talent, it's a place to grow, backed by experienced mentors and the Cronos ecosystem.

From prototype to solution

Have a challenge nobody seems able to solve? We'll assemble a multidisciplinary team to explore what doesn't exist yet.

We love bold, cutting-edge projects. But technology is only interesting when it solves a real problem. That's why every Lab project starts with a challenge worth solving.

Every challenge gets a measurable objective and a clear deadline. We move fast, so you'll quickly know whether to build, scale or move on.

When we discover a real and repeatable market, we don't stop at validation. We help transform promising solutions into products, ventures and new businesses.

How it works

Bring us the problem nobody has solved yet.

1
Challenge intake

Submit your challenge and we'll respond within 5 working days. We'll quickly determine whether it's a fit for the Lab, or not.

2
Define success

During a 2-week framing sprint, we work with your team to understand the problem and define the metrics that will determine success.

3
Explore & Build

For 5 to 10 weeks, a multidisciplinary team explores, validates and builds a working solution around the opportunity.

4
The verdict

Every Lab project ends with a measured verdict. Scale, hand over, spin out or stop; we'll tell you what the evidence says, even if the answer is "don't build this."

Explainable AI in Regulated Environments

As AI becomes part of critical business processes, organizations are asking difficult questions about control, accountability and technological independence. We're exploring how sovereign AI architectures can balance innovation with governance, giving organizations greater control over data, model choice, hosting, costs and dependencies.

Software teams are under pressure to deliver faster without compromising quality, security or compliance. We're exploring how AI can support every stage of the software development lifecycle, from analysis and architecture to coding, testing, secure delivery, documentation and software governance.

Most organizations are still applying AI to existing processes rather than rethinking how work gets done. We're exploring how AI can reshape operating models, decision-making, platform governance and service management, creating organizations that are designed around intelligence, not just automation.

Many of the most valuable AI use cases emerge in environments where decisions must remain auditable. We're exploring how explainable AI and neurosymbolic approaches can combine machine learning with rule-based reasoning to support compliance, security, risk management and operational trust.
